Love Them or Leave Them: Crazy Eyebrows

Hey Everyone,

The majority of the time, when I do these Love Them or Leave Them posts, I can't believe what crazy things (nails, eyelashes, etc.) people are willing to wear, and usually want to 'leave them' all. This time, however, I actually don't mind some of the eyebrows pictured below. I think they are very artistic and would look great on the runway or in an advertisement. Others, however, I really just don't understand. So, my question to you is, which of these eyebrow looks would you consider wearing and which brows are you just not 'plucky' enough (sorry, couldn't help myself) to try!

  1. Ke$ha's brows and the the blue brows I would do for clubbing or something. The others.... nooo. I do like a strong, bushy brow, however, but some of those others are just.... bad.

  3. I think I'd leave all of these, personally. Ke$ha's brows are cool for her music videos, but I don't think I'd be brave enough to wear them in everyday life... And the others are just not to my taste!

  4. I would leave them all, except for Kesha's and the ice blue ones. But only for some kind of crazy makeup look.

Also, have you ever seen the crazy animal hair? It's like hair styled to look like different animals. I stumbled across it earlier today and just thought I'd tell you, perhaps for an idea for another love them or leave them if you run out of ideas? I dunno, I just thought I'd tell u lol. Type in 'animal hair' in google images n you'll get what I mean :)

  6. You have to be able to pull the look off first of all. Second it's more flattering if it actually follows the natural shape of your brows. Some of those up there aren't totally horrifying, but others actually are. I've done my eye brows for looks in different colors and what not.

I think it also depends on the look you're wanting to achieve. It's obviously entirely different if it's themed for a certain event like Halloween, theatrics, etc. Again there are right and wrong ways to do it.

In beauty school when they discussed makeup history we covered how through the decades and time periods things have changed over the years. I think I remember during Renaissance they said women shaved their brows off because it was thought if you had a high/big forehead you were more intelligent during that time period. Or how some decades we had pencil thin and others we had full eye brows.

Again you have to have the right face for some looks because our eye brows make a dramatic impact on our overall facial appearance. If it's done wrong it can ruin the whole picture!! And surprisingly even with mine often drawn on or filled in people seem to always like them so it is always a matter of taste - I'm somewhat surprised that a lot of people liked my looks where I did them in bright red or turquoise cause I figured most would think I was a freak, but nothing is ever gained by not thinking outside of the box either.

  8. Some of them are nice in an artistic pictures kinda way, or as you said, on the runway. I wouldn<t try any of those, but I saw some "indented" ones in a magazine, and maybe would do that for an evening!

  12. Most of the eyebrows are only something that not even most models could pull off, I do like Keshas eyebrows tho! that would be cool for a really extravagant night out!
