Karyn's Daily Makeup Must Haves (Guest Post)

Hey Everyone,

While I am away in New York, I have asked some of my favourite bloggers to write guest posts for Funny Face Beauty. Today's guest post is from Karyn, a good friend, and the editor-at-large of Killer Kurves (the Canadian plus size blog I write for). As you can see from the picture above, Karyn is an absolutely gorgeous plus size model who knows a thing or two about great makeup (she has worked for several cosmetic companies and is a certified makeup artist). To see more of Karyn's posts, be sure to check her out on Killer Kurves

Karyn's Daily Makeup Must Haves
While Alicia is away being fabulous in NYC for her birthday I am here to entertain you! Alicia writes all about beauty on our plus size blog Killer Kurves (link to http://www.killerkurves.ca) and I am always stuck writing about fashion. And as much as I love it, I thought it would be fun to hijack Funny Face Beauty while she is away and write all about beauty for once! So today I am going to cover my absolute favourite products that are the staples in my makeup case that I use each and every day - well except for my no makeup lazy days :)

1. Boi-ing by Benefit Cosmetics
This award-winning concealer camouflages dark circles, shadows and discoloration without creasing or fading. I love that it has such a great consistency and that isn't overly greasy like I find a lot of concealers to be.

2. Powder FX by Cover FX
Hands down THE BEST foundation I have ever used. It goes on effortlessly with a few soft sweeps of a big powder. If you have a normal to combination skin it keeps your skin perfectly matte, flawless and provides an even skin toned and day long. You can even increased your coverage by applying it with a sponge.

3. Dollymix by MAC
The PERFECT hot pink blush! Enough said!

4. Line Stiletto by Maybelline
I absolutely love liquid liner! The flirty 1950's wing tip cat eye is my signature look. And I love liquid liners that come in pen form as they are the easiest to apply and have a firmer applicator tip than the flimsy traditional liquid liners that screw into a pot. I also love Line Stiletto because once the formula dries it does not flake off like most tend to do.

5. & 6. Contrast Eye Shadow by MAC & The Eye Liner Brush by Lise Watier
These two work together amazingly for me! I do my bottom lash line with Contrast. It is the perfect super deep navy/black colour that isn't as harsh as using a pure black. And the hues of blue in the shadow helps to brighten the whites of your eyes! Also, the brush is so super small and angled perfectly to create a super slick and clean fine line under your bottom lashes.

7. Diorshow Iconic by Dior
One of the best Mascara's I have ever used! I tend to switch mascara's a lot but I always seem to come back to this one. It lengthens, curls and separates my lashes perfectly. And I absolutely love the brush!

8. High Brow by Benefit
This product definitely gives me an instant brow lift! It's soft, matte linen-pink hue looks beautiful on all skin tones and instantly adds a lifted look to the entire eye area.

9. Lip Fusion in Sweet by Fusion Beauty
The best natural light pink lip plumper ever. And I swear it works! My lips always look fuller when I use it!

10. Eye Bright by Benefit
This is the perfect little pic me up to brighten up your eyes! By adding a stroke of Eye Bright over your bottom water line your eyes are instantly brighter and seemingly look more refreshed and rested.

11. Bronzer by NUXE
This is the perfect deep bronze shade that is not overly orangey, and it DOES NOT have a sparkle. I hate bronzers with sparkle, I have no idea why they even exist. Who wants to have sparkle all over their face and chest when they want to add a subtle sun kissed glow to their skin!? Not this girl! I want my faux glow to look as natural as possible! This bronzer is also extra large in size, so it is perfect for swirling a big fluffy bronzer brush around on it to pick up enough powder to apply all over.

I sincerely hope you've enjoyed my guest blogger post for Funny Face Beauty. Comment below and let me know if you have tried any of the products I use or what your fave products are!

xo Karyn
