Love Them or Leave Them: Crazy Rings
Hey Everyone,
I had hoped to get my NYC and IMATS haul posted today but, unfortunately, the weather here has been pretty miserable, and I haven't been able to make it outside to take pictures of everything. In the meanwhile, I decided to do one of my favourite series of post: Love Them or Leave Them Crazy (fill in the blank). This week I have a number of very 'interesting' rings to show you. I love jewelry, but to be completely honest, wouldn't be caught dead wearing the majority of the rings shown below. With that said, everyone has their own taste, and so, my question for you is...is your ring finger itching to sport one of these rings, or would you rather cut off your fingers than be caught dead wearing one of the styles featured below? Be sure to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
xx

I love the cutesy rings! I have a ring that looks like a mini bowl of ramen, and it's really fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never been into a lot of this kind of jewelry. Some things I just consider gawdy or tacky especially if you're an adult. Although I do suppose for humor or fun they have their place in fashion/society. That first one is entirely too disturbing. Are those real teeth?!?! That is downright revolting in my views. Completely disgusted by that concept!! I don't even like the necklace my grandmother brought me from Egypt that much which is difficult to say because I love her, but I can't condone a necklace made from camel bones. I refuse to wear it and it's tucked away somewhere in my collection of things I am simply still holding onto for various reasons. I'm particularly afraid to really get rid of it despite her having passed on because I feel strangely guilty (probably sounds peculiar, but I was one of her primary caregivers when she had grade IV brain cancer so the bond is still too strong between us).
ReplyDeleteI don't wear rings because they end up annoying me and getting in my way but if I did I would totally wear these :)
ReplyDeleteI love the hand skeleton one and the dessert plate is ok... the other ones are just two weird. lol
ReplyDeleteAck! They are so tacky! But I do like the hand skeleton, it's sleek and sexy. It would add a lot of drama to an outfit.
ReplyDeleteActually who sells that one? hah
So creative! I would wear some of them... but not the teeth! Those are just... ew! Do you know where we can buy them?
ReplyDeleteThe hand skeleton is awesome, I would wear it, but the others...well they are crazy indeed, teeth on a ring...ewwwww, disgusting!
ReplyDeleteSame! The hand skeleton is so sleek and modern :)
ReplyDeleteThe teeth remind me of Meyer Wolfsheim's cufflinks in the Great Gatsby - they were made of human molars as well O.o
Crazy but funny!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the one with the ice cream-cake plate the most, but I'd wear the mansion ring and the game platform ring, too, I guess. The "cocktail" ring I adore, but that would be really impractical because of the hight.
ReplyDeleteThe tooth rings totally gross me out, but I can definitely see myself wearing the gold skeleton hand one! It's very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the hand skeletion ring. I don't like rings that stick up, so there is no way I'd be able to wear any of the others.
ReplyDeleteEww, the tooth ring! So creepy! Fun post - I think I'll be passing on the crazy ring trend, though :)
ReplyDeletei would definetly leave the teath ring! haha
