Monday Q&A #32

Hey Everyone, 

One of my favourite bloggers, Karen of Makeup and Beauty Blog, does a weekly poll on her blog encouraging readers to take part. Every Monday, I will be posting my answers to her questions on my blog, and hope that you will join me by making your own post, or leaving your answers to the following questions in the comment section below.



1. Mood: Melancholy and tired. It is currently 1am and I am lying in bed in a somewhat crappy, and creepy (lots of weird noises) Comfort Inn on my way back from Nashville. I am happy that by tomorrow night I will be able to sleep in my own bed again, but I am sad that another CMA Fest is over and I have 360+ days until next year's festival. 


2. Did you ever go through an awkward phase?: For sure. Grades 6 through 11 weren't my best years. I had super frizzy hair (and no idea how to style it, wore really frumpy clothing from stores like 'Northern Getaway, and had braces for a number of years. 


3. Have you ever read a book based solely on its cover?: I don't know if I have read a book based solely on its cover, but the most of the books I pick up (and read the back of) are based on their covers. 


4. Boots with shorts in summer: yay or nay?: I saw a lot of shorts with cowboy boots this week and like the look as long as the shorts are not too short (ie. show your butt cheeks short). 


5. Who was the last person you had coffee with?: I don't drink coffee, so no one. The last time I met up for 'coffee' (aka a Starbucks passion tea lemonade) was my friend Katelyn before she left for Africa a good 6 months ago. 


6. Where did you grow up?: London, Ontario (where I was born and still live) and Bayfield Ontario (where my cottage has been located for 23 years). 


7. Have you ever used the words, “broseph” or “bromance,” in a sentence?: Yep!! Actually the other day when my sister and I were celebrity watching at the CMT Awards (we have binoculars and love seeing what each celebrity does during commercial breaks, etc. I said that Luke Bryan and Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum definitely have a serious 'bromance'.

8. Did you ever own a Walkman (CD or cassette)?: I owned both. I remember my walkman (casette) was a bright yellow Sony one. I can't remember what my cd walkman looked like. 


9. Which of the True Blood characters would you most like to hang out with?: Sorry, I have never watched the show.


10. Weekly goals: Laundry, laundry, laundry, edit vlogs from my trip to Nashville, start working on a couple of new posts, etc.
