Hey Everyone,
After checking out all of your answers to the question I asked in my most recent giveaway ('What would you like to see more of on Funny Face Beauty'), I noticed that a lot of you said you would like to see more nail related posts. So today, I have a quick nail of the week post.
After wearing only turquoise/aqua nails for the past month, I decided to mix it up, and add a little pink (my favourite colour) to my life. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go for a light baby pink, or more of a hot/bold pink, so in true indecisive fashion, I decided to do both.
The first colour (a very light baby pink) is Essie's 'Fiji', a gorgeous opaque polish that applies easily in two coats (nothing like OPI's Mod About You, which is so hard to apply). The second colour (a super bright neon pink) is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's 'Anime', an amazingly pigmented polish that applies opaquely in just one coat (I love OCC polishes).

Essie Fiji is the first essie polish i've ever owned and it's still one of my favorites.

A 2-coat Essie polish? In that color? I will have to try it to believe it. Essie and I do not get along! Your nails looks gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI like it, Alicia; nice and summer-y! I'm currently wearing Essie's "Ladylike" which I won in your Birthday 30 Giveaway. I love it, as well as all the other prizes that you sent. You would not believe how excited I was to receive that package; I was jumping around like a 5-year-old on Christmas morning! I paid for that later in the day when all the aches and pains set into this poor old body of mine, tho. Ah well, it was still worth it! Thank you again, sweetie.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. I've been wanting to try OCC nail polishes so I'm glad to see you like them. I love the when in doubt, just do both approach. It always works lol
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried either of these yet. Let's see...favorite pinks...Julep Penelope comes to mind. It's a very soft baby pink with a lovely formula. I also really love Zoya Shelby and China Glaze Ahoy!

ReplyDeleteI may be biased but my favorite nail item is my Konad plate M57 which i really enjoy using the zebra stripes with different colors underneath.
