New Loves from Caryl Baker Visage

About a month ago I received a package from Caryl Baker Visage, a Canadian cosmetic and skin care company that offers a number of spa services (including brow shaping and facials) in store. The package, which contained three of Caryl Baker Visage's summer essentials (one CBV staple and two new, limited edition products) came in a super cute, pink sand bucket (very creative).  

To be honest, I have always considered Caryl Baker Visage to be an 'old lady' store, and have never bothered to check out their cosmetics line. After receiving two packages from the company, and being able to try out a number of their products (blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, etc.) I have to say that I am absolutely in love with the brand. All of the items I have tried are great quality, extremely well pigmented, perfect for sensitive skin, and paraben free, and while the prices tend to be on the more expensive side, I can honestly say that everything I have tried is worth the higher price. Below are more details on my new Caryl Baker Visage loves. 

Caryl Baker Visage Sun Essentials Sunscreen ($14 CND)

The first item included in my little package was Caryl Baker's Sun Essentials Sunscreen. With an SPF of 30 and no BAPA, this sunscreen if perfect for all skin types (including sensitive skin). With a non greasy texture, this is a great every day sunscreen and can be worn on both the face and body. I have been using this for the past month, and so far have not had any sunburns. 

Caryl Baker Visage Limited Edition Mineral Bronzer ($29.50) 

The second item included in my package was Caryl Baker's new, and limited edition, mineral bronzer. I honestly can't say enough good things about this bronzer. With absolutely no shimmer or glitter, this light tan (not orange) bronzer gives my skin an insanely gorgeous glow. This paraben-free, talc-free, oil-free and fragrance free bronzer is perfect for both face and body, and looks great on almost any skin type. I have been looking for my holy grail bronzer for a while now, and am happy to report, I have definitely found it. If there is only one product I could recommend this summer, it would be this bronzer. Get it now! 

Caryl Baker Visage Limited Edition Mineral Lip Tint SPF 15 in 'Luscious' ($23.50 CND)

The final item included in my package from Caryl Baker Visage was their new, and limited edition, mineral tinted lip balm in 'Luscious', a gorgeous pink-toned nude. The Lip Tints are super creamy and moisturizing, and are extremely unique, as they contain two layers. The outer layer provides a sheer colour, light shine and SPF 15. The inner layer, on the other hand, contains mineral rich moisturizers and provides anti-aging and reparative benefits for the lips. I absolutely love the way the Mineral Lip Tints feel on my lips. They are extremely moisturizing, yet still light as air, and with an SPF of 15, they are the perfect accessory for the beach.

As part of their limited edition Bare Beauty Collection, Caryl Baker Visage is selling three 'colour story' sets which include a baked mineral eyeshadow, a baked mineral blush and a mineral lip tint. Each set, which costs $42 CND is valued at $70.50, and can be purchased in store or online before July 18th.
