Hey Everyone,
I am back and ready to start some real blogging again. I realize I have been posting a lot of videos lately, and while I love filming and watching videos, I know that a lot of people visit Funny Face Beauty for a quick read (not a 12 minute video). I have a lot of great written post coming up (and a couple of videos), and can't wait to get back into the swing of things. I am 13 days post surgery and feeling a lot better. It hasn't been a fun journey thus far, but I am happy to say that as of yesterday, I am down 19 lbs.
After receiving so much great feedback on all of Marta's (Chit Chat Nails) guest posts, I have asked her to write a bi-weekly nail inspired post for Funny Face Beauty. Marta is beyond talented when it comes to nail art, and I was so excited when she agreed to create some looks for Funny Face Beauty. Welcome Marta! Here is her first bi-weekly post.
Hello Lovely Ladies,
My occasional pop-in guest posts have been offered an extended invitation; Alicia has offered to share one of my manicures, from time to time, on her blog. Wow! I couldn't be more excited for this opportunity.
Nail art and nail painting has really been trending and there is no shortage of tools and techniques available to help create fun and unique look.
Today I would like to share a glitter-tip manicure with you. I know that glitter is often associated with a 'juvenile look'; recently however, glitter is all the rave in accent nails AND glitter tip manicures... so how could I pass up the opportunity to sparkle and dazzle!? ;)
I started out with two coats of OPI Malaysian Mist (a lovely soft peach cream-jelly mixture). I then applied (with the brush... no sponge needed for this look) China Glaze I'm Not Lion: a lovely pale gold/silver glitter mixture with holographic shimmer within. To make the glitter tip gradient more 'smooth' I added OPI Servin' Up Sparkle (large and small holographic glitter in a clear jelly base), over the CG shade. One coat of Seche Vite completes this look.
Have you played with glitter tips?
THANK YOU FOR READING!
