Sally Hansen recently released their new collection of nail polishes, called 'Lustre Shine Nail Colours'. These polishes, which Sally Hansen describes as 'an intense radiant nail lacquer infused with real silver [that are] inspired by the lustrous colour flip of molten, liquid metal and iridescence of a peacock feather' come in eight stunning shades, which give nails a very unique, iridescent sheen.
With a small, thin brush that allows for precise application, and an extremely smooth, very pigmented formula, all eight 'Lustre Shine Nail Colours' apply opaquely in just one to two coats. While I have yet to wear all eight shades for an extended period of time, the ones I have tried wore nicely, without chipping for over five days. Below are swatches of all eight polishes from the new collection:
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Moonstone' (001):
An opalescent pearl with both a light pink and green iridescent sheen. Despite having a somewhat thin formula, this polish applies beautifully and opaquely in just two coats.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Gilt' (002):
A metallic light gold polish with a heavy rose gold iridescent sheen. This colour, which I, personally, think is the perfect nail colour for Spring applies opaquely in just one coat.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Firefly' (003):
A metallic bronze with a heavy copper and green iridescent sheen. This polish looks great on all skin tones and applies opaquely in just one coat.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Azure' (004):
A stunning inky blue with slight purple undertones. This polish has a very high shine finish and applies opaquely in two coats.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Plume' (005):
A metallic antiqued gold with heavy green undertones and a slight iridescent bronze sheen. This, for me, is one of the prettiest colours from the new collection and applies opaquely in two coats.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Lava' (006):
An absolutely gorgeous metallic copper with heavy pink-red undertones and finely milled rose-gold shimmer. This is polish, which applies opaquely in two coats is ridiculously pretty, and definitely my favourite colour from the new collection.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Scarab' (007):
A beautiful, peacock blue-green with finely milled turquoise shimmer and a very slight yellow sheen. This colour is beautiful on both finger and toes and applies opaquely in just one coat.
Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Nail Colour in 'Copperhead' (008):
A deep red-brown with a slight green-gold sheen. This colour, which has an almost duo-chrome effect, applies opaquely in just one coat.
