Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a wonderful week. Today I wanted to share a couple of new lip loves with you. I'll be honest, when it has come to doing my makeup this Summer, I've been somewhat on the lazy side. Not wanting to take the time to do a full face of makeup, I've been sticking to a lighter foundation, a touch of bronzer, a little blush, one shimmery eyeshadow (hello, Urban Decay 'Sin') and some mascara (what is happening to me?!). To compliment this lighter makeup look, and give my lips a beautiful, but very natural looking high-shine, plumped appearance, I've been using two amazing products from Canadian beauty brand Annabelle Cosmetics.
Below is more information on my latest Annabelle lip loves:
Annabelle Lip Liner in 'Buff' ($6.95 CND):
A soft, creamy nude pink with brown undertones, 'Buff' lipliner is the perfect 'your lips but better' shade, making lips appear fuller and more plumped (it gives the illusion of larger lips). Incredibly creamy, this liner is very easy to work with (it glides on and does not tug at the lips), and although not waterproof (Annabelle does carry a line of waterproof liners), lasts nicely throughout the day. While I am not one to usually use lip liner, Annabelle's Buff has become an instant favourite and you can bet I will be using this with a variety of nude lipsticks and lip glosses from now on.
Annabelle Big Show Lipshine in 'Beam' ($9.95 CND):
A stunning peach-toned nude packed full of iridescent gold shimmer, Annabelle's Big Show Lipshine in 'Beam' contains light-reflecting sparkles that give lips a stunning high-shine finish. Incredibly creamy, and not at all sticky, Annabelle's Big Show Lipshines contain grape seed oil, Omega 6 and Vitamin E which help to moisturize lips, leaving them feeling soft, smooth and very comfortable.
I have absolutely been loving this Annabelle lip combo and can say, with all honesty, it is the only thing (other than my everyday Carmex lip balm), I've been wearing on my lips for the past month. Annabelle's Big Show Lipshines are out of this world amazing (they are seriously becoming some of my favourite glosses), and definitely a product I would highly recommend checking out.
What do you think of my new favourite lip combo? Have you tried any of Annabelle's lip products? Do you want to? What is your current favourite lip combination? Be sure to let me know in the comment section below.
